Agreement
These Terms are a binding agreement between you and Gunja Consulting, Inc. (“Permit Dawn”, “we”) governing the Permit Dawn website and permit-alert service (the “Service”). By creating an account you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you are subscribing for a business, you represent that you may bind it.
What the Service is
The Service compiles building-permit records published by government agencies, classifies them by trade, and delivers them to you by email and through a dashboard. It is an information service. It is not legal, financial or construction advice and does not create any relationship between you and the property owners or contractors named in a record.
Data accuracy
Permit data is provided “as is.” Agencies publish records with delays, omissions and errors, feeds change without notice, and our classification is automated. We do not warrant that any record is complete, current or correctly categorised. Verify a record with the issuing agency before relying on it.
Acceptable use
- You may use the data for your own business development. You may not resell, redistribute or republish it, or use it to build a competing service.
- You are responsible for complying with all laws that apply to how you contact people, including telemarketing, do-not-call, anti-spam and consumer-protection laws.
- You may not share your login, scrape the dashboard, or attempt to access records outside your subscribed feeds.
Subscriptions, trials and billing
Each seat covers one metro and one trade and is billed monthly at the price shown at checkout (currently $99 per seat). New subscriptions begin with a 14-day free trial; a payment method is required and the first charge occurs when the trial ends unless you cancel first. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled from Billing. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email; the change applies at your next renewal.
Termination
You may cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are abusing the Service, with a pro-rated refund if we terminate without cause.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost business.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Illinois, United States, and disputes will be heard in the State of Illinois. Questions: legal@permitdawn.com.
